Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes annually.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes yearly.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) different sales classes offered for General Managers twice a year, totaling 4.5 training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians is comprised of:

  • Heating and cooling system tune-up procedural training twice a year
  • Heat exchanger and CO inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ biannually
  • Continual NATE certification and specialty classes as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in supplementary training through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc programs to better train our technical staff.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, resources, and framework for running a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, conduct outbound calling over a one (1) day course. In this program we cover HVAC basics, why people buy, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchase indicators, and controlling customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal courses offered. On the job training given by the General Manager and appropriate staff at center level.
